Day 5 Challenge: Create a daily success plan for yourself that takes only 15-20 minutes and schedule a time in the day where you can squeeze it in. Write a blog post about what you will do, when you will do it, and how it will get you closer to your dream
I still have a full-time job that obviously takes up my 9-5 plus the commute time from my home in Dee Why into the City, which on a good day is 40-45 minutes. So that’s a big chunk of my day taken up, so in terms of working out a schedule to work on my blog or freedom plan can be tough. By the time I get home it’s dinner time, and when daylight savings starts I will also be walking my dog every day.
I do try to do at least 30 minutes of work on my blog each day, and each day I don’t I count that as one further day away my freedom lifestyle is. My mindset is at the moment that I will take time out of my previous schedule when I would usually interact with co-workers or just chill to do something towards my blog so that it will be what I dream it to be.
I do sometimes struggle to stay on focus with regards to what I am doing for my blog on any one day. I just work on this or that and I didn’t realise until watching the video for this challenge that I wasn’t feeling like I had accomplished anything by doing this. I need to set some MIA (most important actions) so that I get things done and feel that way by the end of doing it.
To lay it out in a planned style (not my strongest skill) I would get home and prepare and eat dinner whilst enjoying some chill time with my puppy.
Then I would jump on my blog and work on my email welcome series (as I haven’t finished that yet).
Once that is finished my plan would be to finalise my opt-in freebies
Once that is done finalise my pages for these two things so I can start doing some Facebook advertising to get some traffic and build my email list.
Other action points would be to post a blog
Work on paid e-products so I can start making money asap
Also, do some online training.
This would round out my night as I do need to have some variation in my tasks but I also need to be more focused to make sure I get stuff done.
